Everyone has been touched by the scourge of cancer in some form or another. No one goes through this life without being directly effected by this terrible disease and that feeling of helplessness. Well here's a way to help and have a bit of fun in the process. The Pan Mass Challenge is a 200 mile bike ride from Sturbridge to Provincetown and this year will be South Egremont Spirit Shoppe co-owner Tom's sixth ride. His goal is to raise at least $5000.
The South Egremont Spirit Shoppe is sponsoring a rubber duck race on July 20th at 11:00 a.m. from the back of the Spirit Shoppe, down Hubbard Brook and ending at Kenver Ltd. At the conclusion of the race everyone is invited back to the Spirit Shoppe for a complimentary wine tasting and Braise Worthy Taco Truck on the back lawn.
We are looking to get at least 500 ducks sponsored and send Tom on his way with his goal of $5000 completed. How can you participate??
To Sponsor ducks for the race on the 20th, simply click on "DONATE" , follow the prompts, and type the word "DUCKS" in the notes to rider section. For every $10 donation, you will sponsor one duck. A $50 donation will sponsor six ducks as they race towards the finish.
Come down to the Spirit Shoppe any day and sponsor your ducks in person. Pick from the bowl of ducks and give it some luck.
